Kyoto is an iconic city, known for its picturesque and beautiful Temples, and you can really see the effort that the city has put in to preserving its rich history and culture.
It was no surprise that we made a point to visit some well known sights to immerse ourselves in the heritage and mystery of Kyoto. As for me, I was also excited on how Shawlpublika's beautiful clothes would photographed in such iconic places.
Kiyomizu Dera is a temple situated in the south eastern part of the city. The collection of intricately detailed and vibrant buildings is coupled with a panoramic view of Kyoto, as well as Osaka far off in the distance.
The cutting of the Lubna fishtail top from Shawlpublika flowed beautifully in the strong winds, creating drama and tension. The contrasting colors work well to grab attention even with the strong red tones of the temple.
FUSHIMI INARI TAISHA
Fushimi Inari Taisha is a set of shrines in the south of the city, famous for its never-ending path of vermillion torii gates. It requires a lot of effort to get up to the higher sections and Temples as the path goes up and onward for at least an hour's walk. It's amazing to see the effort that people went through to offer their worship in the early ages, with no trams to make the journey easier.
The doll TOP series from Shawlpublika has a flounce to it which creates an interesting silhouette that stands out against the imposing hall of gates. The red cast is hard to deal with photographically, but the analogous pink tones of the top work well in the location. More importantly, as we are facing a cold spring, there is a need for delicate floral print for a change from dark winter coats and clothing.
THANK YOU SHAWLPUBLIKA
Finally I would to express my deep gratitude to Shawlpublika for giving me these beautifully designed clothes. I am truly humbled by your generosity, and I wish you all the best with your future endeavours!
